Summer 2025: Public input opportunities for the Tri-Canyon Trails Plan

Summer 2024 - Spring 2025: The Final Plan is developed by the Tri-Canyon Trails Team.

Summer 2024 - Winter 2024: The Final Plan is under development by the Tri-Canyon Trails Team, with release anticipated in early 2025.

May 31, 2024: The public input period for the Draft Plan closed. 

Winter 2023 - Spring 2024: The Draft Plan is complete. Draft Plan Open Houses were held in March 2024.

Fall 2023 - Winter 2024: The Draft Plan is under development. 

Summer 2023: The Listening Sessions Summary Report is being finalized and preliminary ideas for the Draft Plan are starting to be developed. 

February 20, 2023: The input period for the preliminary Listening Sessions Phase of the project closed, including the Social Pinpoint online map and the survey. The planning team is in the process of analyzing community feedback and developing a Listening Sessions Summary Report. 

February 6, 2023: The third public listening session was held at The County Library | Millcreek.

January 26, 2023: The second public listening session was held at Wheeler Farm. 

January 11, 2023: The first public listening session was held at the The County Library | Viridian Event Center. 

December 2022: Listening sessions were held with stakeholders and partners. The project website, Social Pinpoint map, and survey were launched.

November 2022: Listening sessions were held with local government representatives.

October 2022: The project website, Social Pinpoint, and survey were developed and materials for the preliminary listening sessions were prepared.

September 7, 2022: A project kick-off meeting was held with Salt Lake County, U.S. Forest Service staff, and the planning team.
